BOSCH Maintenance Service Terms

To protect customer rights and interests, after purchasing BOSCH products, please complete product warranty registration on this website and properly keep the official purchase receipt and warranty card for verification when warranty services are provided in the future.

1. Product Limited Warranty

  • Products purchased through official BOSCH or authorized sales channels are eligible for a 2-year product limited warranty service, calculated from the date on the official sales invoice.
  • If a valid purchase receipt, warranty card, or other valid proof of purchase cannot be provided, BOSCH reserves the right to use the product serial number, production date, or other information as the basis for determining the warranty period.
  • Warranty service is only applicable to Hong Kong and Macau regions. Additional charges may apply for services in remote or designated areas. For details, please refer to the relevant arrangements for "Installation Services" and "Repair Services."

2. Installation and Eligibility for Free Warranty

  • Products purchased through official BOSCH or authorized sales channels must be installed by BOSCH, agent technicians, or designated authorized service providers to be eligible for relevant free warranty services.
  • If customers install products themselves, or if installation is performed by individuals, companies, or service providers not authorized by BOSCH, BOSCH reserves the right to refuse to provide free warranty services.
  • Damages or malfunctions caused by improper installation, installation environments that do not meet product requirements, alterations to original door bodies or electrical systems, and other installations not authorized by BOSCH are not covered by the free warranty.
  • Smart lock installation must comply with product specifications, user manuals, and on-site installation conditions. If the product fails to operate normally due to door body structure, power supply system, network environment, or other on-site factors, separate charges may apply for related handling.

3. On-site Repair Service for Smart Locks

  • Smart locks installed on-site by BOSCH agent technicians or authorized service providers are eligible for one year of free on-site repair service, including labor fees and specified parts costs resulting from product malfunctions.
  • During the second year of the warranty period, if an on-site inspection or repair is required, the following fees will be charged at BOSCH's discretion: On-site service fee: HKD 400; Parts costs: calculated based on actual replacement parts and repair situation; Remote area surcharge: separately charged based on the actual service location.
  • If the smart lock was not installed by a BOSCH agent technician or authorized service provider, even if the product is still within the 2-year warranty period, customers will be charged HKD 400 for each on-site inspection or repair request, and parts costs will be charged separately as needed.
  • After the repair personnel complete the inspection, if the cause of the malfunction falls under situations not covered by the warranty as listed in these terms, the customer must bear the relevant on-site fee, inspection fee, labor fee, parts cost, and other necessary expenses.
  • Customers are requested to ensure that there is someone present at the site to receive the repair personnel during the scheduled appointment slot. If the repair personnel arrive and cannot gain access, they will wait for a short period at their discretion; if the waiting time is exceeded, it will be considered a temporary rescheduling, and the customer must make another appointment and pay an administrative fee of $400.
  • Rescheduling must be requested at least two working days in advance. Late requests will be considered temporary rescheduling, and customers must make another appointment and pay an administrative fee of $400. This rule also applies if rescheduling is due to reasons not attributable to our company. If services are canceled after the installation personnel have arrived, an on-site fee of $400 will be charged.
